Currency introduction: API3 is a de-neutralized oracle network invested by Digital Currency Group (DCG), the parent company of Gray Capital. API3 is a decentralized API of Web3.0. API3 data sources, dAPIs, and data from first-party oracles are aggregated and operated by mainstream API providers worldwide. API3 is the native token of the API3 project, giving its holders the right to participate in the governance of the API3 ecosystem through API3DAO. In order to generate shares in API3DAO, token holders must pledge API3 tokens to the insurance pool, which also allows them to receive weekly rewards.
Token distribution situation:

The total issuance is about 100 million.
25% is allocated to the ecological fund, totaling 25 million pieces. 10% will be allocated to partners, totaling 10 million, locked for 2 years, 6 months release period. 30% will be allocated to the founding team, totaling 30 million pieces, locked for 2 years and 6 months release period. 20% will be used for public offering, totaling 20 million pieces, without lock-up. 10% is used for the seed round, totaling 10 million pieces, locked for 2 years. 5% is used for angel wheels, totaling 5 million pieces, locked for 2 years.

Seed round:
On November 12, a seed round of 3 million USD was completed, led by Placeholder, Pantera Capital, Accomplice, Coin Fund,
Digital Currency Group and Hashed followed suit.
